Bronx Merchants Softball Game Fundraiser & Blood Drive!
Friday July 23, 2010 @ 8PM
Joey O’Grady has been a well known and well loved member of the Throgs Neck Community all his life. For the past year, Joey has been undergoing chemotherapy for the treatment of Synovial Sarcoma.
As a result of the chemotherapy, Joey is often in need of multiple transfusions. Joey relies on the support of the New York Blood Center to help get him through the devastating effects of chemotherapy.
We will be seeking mass media coverage of this event. The Throgs Neck & Pelham Bay Merchants Vs. The Westchester Square & Morris Park Merchants. There will be 15 spots available on each team for a $100 donation. (You can play or have anyone you like play instead of you).
We will have a full page notice in The Bronx Times spotlighting the merchants that have supported this cause, as well as listings on the Morris Park, Pelham Bay, Throgs Neck and Westchester Square Websites.
For merchants that will help support the cause a $50 donation will get them listed in the notice in The Bronx Times and a listing in the Morris Park, Pelham Bay, Throgs Neck and Westchester Square Websites. Please show your support and donate to this noble cause.
John Scanlon of the Pelham Bay Home Center has raised $4000 for the Throggs Neck Girls Softball team for much needed equipment. Donators played against the Girls. It was a lot of fun!
